How can I transfer video footage to the PC?

i have my sony dcr-hc28 mini dv camcorder.and i have recorded video footage.and try to transfer it to my pc w/ 4pin usb but i dont think its workin.my lebeca webcam is recognized by my pc but not my camcorder,eventhough it is connected to my pc.

It's a Sony CCD TR506E PAL video cam. And only has the red, white and yellow connection cable. I know it's totally outdated, but i still have footage i'd like the put on DVD. Please, please, pretty please! Can anyone help me out?
