sNews v1.4 is out!

It's simple, it refreshing, its delicious! Over the past few weeks we did a lot of improvements since the version 1.3. The most important thing about the new version is probably that it now uses Search Engine Friendly URLs. Besides security issues being fixed, sNews is now more customizable to suit any kind of website and allows integration of external PHP files.

Why haven't we released it earlier?
There were a lot of users asking for some features and made suggestions so we spent extra time integrating additional functions and making sNews more customizable. Every time we thought of releasing it we ended up with another great suggestion or had an idea we had to try. Now that sNews is much more that it used to be we just have to let you try it. Since sNews is not the only thing we do, we were busy doing other projects aswell. But thanks to analyzerx and other helpful people of the forum, we managed to finish it.

So what now? We'll continue developing sNews to be more simple, accessible and standards valid. While sNews stands as a main engine, mods and addons are being developed and served for easy integration with sNews.

Licence:
In case you missed it, sNews is licenced under a Creative Commons Licence. This licence allows you to use sNews non-commercially or commercially and you don't have to leave the 'Powered by sNews' link unless you want to. This licence is flexible enough to ensure anyone can use sNews on their site and make further development.
