sNews 1.5 Default Template Winner

Default template for sNews version 1.5 will be DesignCriativo, made by Vitor M. Costa who is the winner of our contest with 87 votes, followed by Brauck's Walking to the future with 48 votes.

Vitor M. Costa is a frontend developer who owns Design Criativo, a personal place where he writes his thoughts about web development and problems that the world has to deal with.

Vitor says he's a simple person, so simple that it's hard to describe himself living in a beautiful small town in the north of Portugal.

I've been working for the web since April 2001, started as a freelancer, web designer and flash developer, services that I continue to provide today with a slight shift towards development using web standards.

And here's a message to sNews users:

For everyone that is going to use this template, i must say thanks for the preference :) This template was made with simplicity in mind and I wanted a template that reflects the branding of sNews, so it had to have a blue color scheme. There's only one image in the template, so everyone that uses it needs to work on the CSS side and not the graphical one.

Thanks to Vitor and all participants who entered the contest. All submitted designs will be available for download as well as the default one.
