Are there any affordable US Universities for International (Canadian) graduate students?

If an international student completes his/her Masters from a US university, can he/she join an organization in the US which is primarily a government contractor ? I understand such jobs require security clearance of different levels. So, are non-US citizens...

I'm currently pursuing an Honors Physics course in India. It's a three year program after which I'll earn a BS degree. This makes a total of 15 years (12+3) of education. From what I know, 16 years is the requisite minimum for International students...

Why is it that students from such universities get internships and full time positions easily?Do companies have some kind of a quota system where they have to pick a specific number of students from top universities?

They generally seem to have fewer graduate students (which is why they can focus on their undergrads), but does that mean that they often treat their (fewer) graduate students more nicely? That's basically what I heard when I visited both Yale and Brown...

All I have seen is only the IIT's cracking more into Top uni's rather than normal ones though more talented and experienced, just because of the tag!? Edited: I meant to talk about students excluding BITS and NIT's also

What are the favoured destinations? For instance, during my time, University of Florida had a good rapport with some of the Professors at DA-IICT. So a lot of students in electronics would pursue graduate studies there. Same could be said about University...

I've heard from a number of my peers and some GRE institutes that universities are more likely to admit students if they receive their applications early. Is this really true? Does sending your application packet early really put you ahead of other applicants...
