Can you still record normal video with flip video Ultra HD camera?

I'm planning on shooting a music video for my friend's band, I have a non-HD Sony mini dv cam and I'm trying to get the best quality video. I would appreciate a response from anybody who would know thanks.

i need a cam to take pictures but MORE vids mostly vid i dont like the circle lens that eye lens were you see a circle around the vid not that one i want SQUARE VIDEOS i am basically going to be taping people skateboarding and doing slow motion vids...

I recorded the 4:30 pm sun directly for 1-2 seconds and then realized it might be bad for this new expensive camera.

not a camera, but the size of a picture camera that uses flash memory and not tape. i know they already have hd cameras that use tape
