How can i make my wall on new facebook private?

I have my profile private, but for someone reason some things I post show up public, and I don't know how to fix it. Any ideas?

I don't want my friends to be able to see what i write on other people's walls in the live stream. i put all the settings on friends only so far, but i can't figure out how to get them off the live stream. help!
