How come my yahoo messenger won't sign me in?

My yahoo messenger won't let me sing on it doesnt pop up a message saying to Try again or anything it just attempts tosign in and fails... my screen name and password are correct.. and yeah.. It does the same when my friend tried to log on on my computer...

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the messenger and ive looked at the securitys what else can i do?
