How do I search for other yahoo member profiles?

I need to find someone but all I know is their OLD email address and yahoo messenger id. Is it possible to find them? I searched on yahoo members directory, but that doesnt show ANY results, even when i search for my id. Something up with my computer...

I use it these days to check profiles of people who message me on MySpace and MyYearbook who ask me to write them on the Yahoo mail. If I see a profile that's been there a while I'll write back, but if they just registered that day and there's no details...
