How do I view someone's profile that is not on my contact list?

How do you view someones profile who has opened a chat window to you and is not on your contact list? And dont reply just with "look it up in the yahoo search" because what name is visible is often time not the profile name.

I use to be able to use this feature, after signing intoYahoo's IM messenger, and then if you wanted to view someones profile, that is NOT on your list, you could go to "Contacts" drop down menu, then scroll down to "View Profile"...

When I go to 'contacts', the 'view profile' is not highlighted for me to click on. I want to view someones profile before I add them to my list. How can I get my 'view contact' button highlighted again so I can use it?

when i had messenger 7 i could click on my frinend title list and left click on contacts..go down to view profile and a box would come up and it would say....yahoo ID.. and I would type in a persons ID who wasn't on my list..now that i upgraded to messenger...
