How do I withdraw from a yahoo group?

usually pending messages stays for approval for 14 days and later will be deleted. in my group it stayed even longer period of time. Thanks

currently I am owning a group. I want to change the ownership to a new yahoo id and susequently withdraw my ownership. Is it feasible? will any prbolem in the group affect the my yahoo id?
