How do i change the gender of my avatar?

i can change clothes i can change my gender on my profile but i cant change my avatar, why not?

My crummy little cousin saw the avatar maker when I was busy and made a FEMALE avatar...but I'm a guy! Someone tell me, PLEASE, how I can change the gender of my avatar! No offense, ladies, but...I like being male!

When making my Yahoo account, I accidentally made my gender be male, somehow. So now when I go to make my avatar, it won't let me be a female. I have to change my gender, first. How do I do that?
