How do i delete old pictures and attachments off my yahoo?

ihave all these pics that have been sent to me and there is no delete button in yahoo mail for received attachments how do i delete them, once htey have beenopened??

When I delete a message that contains pictures or attachment they still appear on the left hand side of my mail box showing attachments and my pictures.

When I click on the attachments button all the pictures from every attachment I ever downloaded appear. I want to get rid of them.

I want to delete a photo or a file from My Pictures or My attachements in Yahoo Mail. They are not in My Computer, but in my mail. They are not in compose, but they are already sent or recived mails?

I don't want to delete all, only some and I can't figure out how to do it. All my photos are automatically saved and I don't necessarily want that to happen.

I have already deleted the original e-mails and the images/attachments are still there. How do I get rid of them now? There are too many and I don't want them anymore. I will appreciate any guidance you share with me.
