How do I get email notifications via sms on my phone (Vodafone carrier)

How can I start the notifications again?

When I enter an event into Yahoo Calender it shows as entered. However when I enter time and date to notify me I never am notified brior to the event.

Everyt time I am logged into Yahoo messenger, I get notified of email messages. Its great, dont get me wrong, but how do you stop getting notified every time you get a new message?

I didn't get any emails to let me know that I had gotten a couple of answers to my Y!Answers question, so I would like to forward the answers I received to my Yahoo email inbox.

I have the box checked to receive daily digest notification emails but I'm not receiving them in the email inbox that I have selected on the membership page. Did I miss something?
