How do you embed a picture in an e-mail?

I can only send a picture as an attachment. How do insert directly into the email? I copy as an object from word or snip and only the object outline box shows up. Copy and paste does not work.

i dont want it to be an attachment...i want it to show the picture when they open the file

I want to send my cousin an email with the pictures i took with us embedded but i dont know how. i would send them as attachments but it takes so dang long to add them. how to do make them so they just show up and are not attachted?

I have no clue how to add pictures right into the body of my emails instead of as an attatchment. I've tried copying and pasting but when I bring up the appropriate menu the "paste" command in not accessable...anyone able to help out a cyber...

The normal copy and paste does not work. I don't want to send the picture as an attachment, because it needs to go in with our meeting minutes. This has been a normal procedure before August 1, this year. I use Firefox and it worked before yahoo changed...
