How do you personally use energy?

A portion of the energy we use comes originates from the sun, the most obvious examples being solar energy and wind energy. But, a larger portion of our energy is obtained not from the sun and via other methods, for example via gasoline, coal, nuclear...

I know cells use ATP for energy, and they use this energy for specific reactions. But how? How is the ATP directed to the right places, and how is it used?

I'm doing a small research on if energy drinks really provide a source of energy and i need to answer this: How do we get and make a (use able for of energy) or ATP in our body/cells?

I want to use solar energy at home.

I personally feel uncomfortable with it because of the Chernobyl and Three Mile Island incidents but how about you? please give an explanation.
