How do you view a Yahoo profile?

The other day yahoo asked me to update to the new profile set up, which I did, but when I hit the drop down arrow by my user name on yahoo answers, or within a yahoo news article, and click on profile like I normally used to, it does not show my recent...

For example- got an email from an unknown person, who had a yahoo ID as well as name. Because they were neither my buddy nor IM'd me, and I'm using 8.1, I had to go to Yahoo Member Directory (members.yahoo.com). I was unable to find this person's profile...

I think it used to be the 360 profile? It's the profile you get, when you are on your YA profile and click on View My Profile (or View Profile when I am in Public View). So in YA - it's as easy as clicking on Public View, but I can't find that feature...

I uses to click on contacts/view profile with yahoo messenger. A box would come up and and all you had to do was enter their yahoo id. This option no longer works.

Not their Yahoo answers profile, their Yahoo profile. this is if they don't have the link set up on their Answers profile already? Also, how do you get your Preferences to show your link to your Yahoo profile.

With yahoo messenger in the main menu box you used to be able to view the profile of the person you were chatting with weather or not they were on you list, now with vista I have not found out how to view a profile of anyone on my list or not, is there...

when i click on view profile, nothing happens......previously a separate box would open and you put the yahoo ID in to see the profile....i am using version 7.5.....i d/l version 8, and "view profile" was in lite gray.......so is this no longer...
