How to clear visited web sites?

In other words I would like to clear my files or delete them

When I type in the Search Box on my computer at work the sites I have visited last come up. How do I get it to do that at home? Or how can I see the last sites I have visited last? I don't necessarily need them to come up I just want to see sites I went...

whenever I type in a web site underneath pops up the last few web sites I've visited is there a way to delete that from happening? This also applys to the search engine.

example=if i want to got to a web site begining with B -the window drops down and lists all other web sites I visited that began with "B". I would prefer that any history ...show more

I want to avoid the list of previous internet sites to pop up each time I type in a new internet site but they always pop up in the list of sites i've been to in the past

I have explicit sites I've visited on my Web Search and don't want my husband to see whenever he uses the computer! Can anyone tell me how to delete these sights? Please hurry!

when I start typing some new search into the search engine space all of the web sites I have possibly visited keeps popping up even after I have deleted my temp files, etc. This has just started in the last week. What is going on?
