If I buy an unlocked phone, will it work with bell?

if unlocked the i-phone.its IME no. will remain same or deleted........... it is valid in india? or tell me another way

It says it works for At&t and Tmobile but nor particularly for cincinnati bell, i googled the GSM number for cincinnati bell and it is 1900 and the phone description said it would work for 1700/1800/1900 and some others. I am really being paranoid...
