My computer can't see weird symbols.

So i can see japanese symbols on pictures but when i comes up to google Translator i only see are squares i'm going to get tribal angel wings on my back but i have to see how much of the japanese is going to take up my spine

when looking at blogs, or sites with symbols they just come out as a rectangle anyone know anything to solve this? thanks

Alright, i have a Micro SD card for my Samsung cell phone, I also have the adapter to plug it in my Dell Computer (its vista by the way). The problem is that i use to be able to see what was on my SD card, but now when i plug into the computer it says...

when i switch my computer on its fine , then a hour later it starts to go brighter and brighter ,until i cant see anything apart from a bright colour , and then its impossible to see anything so i have to close computer down ,,, can any one advise me...
