Dental assistant or nursing assistant (lpn/rna)?

So i am currently in school to receive my bachelors degree in sociology but i need money now. I was thinking about taking a semester off in order to become a dental assistant or Rna which is better, which makes more money? is it a good idea? which is easier to find work with? I live in the chicago area. i have 30 credit hours after a year, and also i am wondering will the classes i've already took be applied to a nursing degree or dental if i decide to get an associates instead?
