What is the best way to advertise through EMAILS, and how or where do you get the emails from?

I constantly get lots of emails in my inbox to where my email address is not in the TO box. I have blockers/filters set up and also report spam all the time. I wanted to see if there was any way to set it up where I only get emails from people I know...

there's an inbox for emails, then there's a message inbox, but my emails go to both. i would really really like for it to only go to the email inbox. is there a way to do this?
