When I block someone on msn?

When you block & delete someone from msn can they still see your name? Not just your msn address but what you actually changed your name & personal message to??

can you see it in the live news feed? or on your msn name? or what

If you block someone on MSN, do they show up when they sign in or will they just appear on your 'online list'?

Well really what I want to know is can someone still see if your display name changes even if you block them?

Will that person know? There's someone I don't want to talk to tonight but I want others to see that I'm online. Can I block him for a few hours and unblock later?
