When I click on my Internet explorer, It logs me automatically into yahoo, How do I change this?

I had internet explorer as my default, but it doesnt work so i changed my default to Flock. I use Flock and Firefox when i initiate internet on my own, yet when i use yahoo messenger to do anything, it automatically pulls up internet explorer every time...

when my old yahoo page first came up, it had the option of "favorites" to click on. i no longer have that w/ my new yahoo screen. have they been lost? how can i get my old yahoo page back? thank you

If i type in an unknown address or any search term in the Internet Explorer 8 address bar it searches Yahoo, I have Bing as the defult search provider but it still uses yahoo search how can i change this.
