Why are the cars in the US cheaper than in India?

In Asia, Cars industries are from China, Korea & Japan..........they might combine their forces to challenge with the Western block.....UK, US & Canada. What a show of CARS POWER in the new world. Is it a benefit to all?

why not quality cars corrola,civic,lancer etc in compact sedan class and toyota vitz (echo) etc in small cars class.

Why are there gears in Indian cars? Why not make it simple and just have two options, gas and brake?

I just heard something about an indian(?) car company, TATA motors, coming out with a $2000 new car. Where are the new cars in the 2-10k range that are available for purchase in the US? Where is this low end market, or why isn't it there?

Some models of cars in India don't pass the LAMBDA pollution test. When their makers are contacted & asked if they want a way out, they undermine the opportunity they have before them now and are unwilling to accept. What can be the possible reason...
