Why do my subs make a buzzing sound?

i bought a new casio exilim ex-s6 today and everytime i make take a picture it makes a buzzing sound for a second. the picture comes out fine and nothing seems to be wrong with it. But the buzzing sound seems strange...is something wrong with my camera...
