How can I get healthier and whiter teeth?

I've tried a lot of things. I brush my teeth at least 3 times a day with Crest 3D White Toothpaste (removes up to 80% of stains,supposedly) I also have been brushing my teeth with baking soda the past couple days. (adding on to the 3 times I brush already...
