How can I see the people I may know on myspace?

i've seen private profiles with color backgrounds instead of the plain white, i want color but without changing my actual profile layout

Everyone that I try to friend request has the email thing where you have to enter their email and I asked my friend if that happens on hers..and she requested the same people and it didn't have the email thing...what should I do to request them without...

I've had my myspace for awhile now and i have quiet a lot of friends, over 200 but my people you may know thing on my home will not work. Ever since it came out it always said no recommendations found sorry. I don't see why it does that though since...

I don't want people to be able to see on their homepage my myspace under 'People you may know', so is there a way to get myself off that?
