How do I delete toolbar history?

Hi,i need to know how to delete the browsing history in the very top toolbar,the one that has the http:// etc on it. I delete history using my yahoo,and my avg toolbars and i even use c cleaner to do it but everytime I double click on the drop down there...

Everytime I click the drop down menu it goes behind the taskbar at the bottom of the screen right where the 'clear history' option is, how can I delete the history?? Many thanks, DH
