How do I get rid of Windows Live?

I cant find a way to uncheck or delete them.I don't want them but I cant find a way to get them out of there i tried right clicking a blank space on the toolbar,but it doesn't give options to take them off.I tried to go into windows live but i can't...

I don't even have a windows messenger account. In easy to understand sentences geared toward the computer illiterate, can you tell me how to get rid of it? I have windows vista.

It's quite annoying how they just pop up when I start to type an email address. I've replied to these people maybe once and their email addresses have saved. How do I get rid of them for good?
