How do I make a group contact list?

I want to put extended family addresses in a "group" for a large family reunion mailing. How do I group them?

I have a group of 18 names I would like to email, with out typing each name individually.

I'd like to be able to list my group in more than one area. Is that possible and if so how do I do this? If it's possible, can it be done to groups that already exist? If this isn't possible, whom would one contact to make such a suggestion and how?

I would like to make a contact list of the my group of students without entering the individual names, and mail address. Is there a way that I can copy the names from my email and enter all of them at the same time into a contact list?

I am unable to see any of my contact group lists in "contacts" nor can I create a new contact list or make any changes to my old lists......What is going on?????
