How do you replace your avatar with a picture of you?

I have a 360 account, i have the picture i want set as primary, but every time i try to make it the main picture when i first open it up, it says that yahoo photos is closed and sends me to flickr. thats all fine, i made a flickr account and now have...

I already had my avatar made, now I need to replace the default picture with the avatar.

By reviewing other responses I was able to make my picture my profile for Answers and Yahoo 360. However, I am still unable to replace my avatar with this picture on Yahoo mail or on any fantasy sports page. Please help!
