How much would a v6 engine swap before a 94 firebird?

got a 94 firebird with no motor and a v6 trans need an engine and am trying to find one that will fit give it decent power and alright mpg no im not doing a v8 swap dont waste my time and yours talking about it

my 94 v6 mustang blew head gaskets and it has major internal damage i am having trouble finding a motor in that year for a good price but i found a 99 mustang v6 and just wanna know everything ill have to do to make it work correctly in my car

Is it a direct swap?? What adjustments need to be made. I have parts for a complete swap (engine, dt, exhaust rear end etc). Just want to know if it's more trouble than its worth

I know they're not speedy by any means, but with aftermarket upgrades and all, how much could it improve? Would it cost less just to swap in a v8 for the same improvement?
