i have tried connecting the sony camera to the USB port ...but as soon as i connect it the diaphragm of the camera shuts ..so i have no clue how to use it as a web cam...

I use an Hp laptop , when I open pre installed cyber link camera it says the the web cam is off , I tried uninstalling and installing the program to no solution. Also there isn't a webcam in device manager , what should i do
