What is the difference between the friends list and address book list on Yahoo messenger?

i want to know if the address book for yahoo 360 ( my friends) and the address book for instant messenger are one in the same? I cant seem to be able to edit my friends list in yahoo 360..i think its because i may have deleted something? im not sure...

Someone sent their contact information to me within Yahoo IM and I want to export that contact and others into my regular Yahoo Address Book. I have tried everything including searching for a .csv file in YIM but with no success. I would hate to manually...

I want to add a contact in my address book, over to my friends list, in my messenger. I already tried the "Add Feature" but that does'nt work. It only provides for adding people that are not in my messenger list already

I created a new yahoo account last day and I started to add my contact list of my old account. after I added some, when I add other contacts they go to address book. I want them at my contact list groups. how can I move them to main contact list ??

i get error code 40-402 when i try 2 delete from messenger list

How can I get it back?
