Is anyone familiar w/ the 2 year law prgram in France?

I heard that if a student chooses to study law in France there is a program in which they can study law for 2 years and there after completeing their 2 year study they are legally allowed to practice law in France and the U.S. Does anyone know anything about this? I searched for information but I'm not getting what I want.
