Where's the best place to watch 4th of July fireworks in Los Angeles?

We're trying to find a nice restaurant with a great view (rooftop, waterfront etc) to watch July 4th fireworks. Anywhere near the LA area would be good. Has anyone been to anywhere with great food and drinks and a view to match for independence day?...
