How can I connect Wireless Headphones to my LG TV?

I have a LG TV (Flatscreen) with HD inputs etc... but the only audio outout is Digital Optical Output. Is there any way I can connect it to a stereo with RCA input sockets? I don't want to use the headphones socket. Any suggestions? Thanks
