How do i clear the search bar?

Hello. Im trying to clear the yahoo search bar that is located right under the address to where you go to your pages online. Not the yahoo search bar thats in the left hand corner the big bar. If that isnt clear enough its the bar right above the 6 yahoo...

How do I clear off the pre guessed words on the search bar, when I want to do a search. This is about the main search bar not the tool bar one.

im trying to clear search history from web search bar, i right click and option is to select all or delete. when click delete it does not delet. i dont see any icons pertaning to help or clearing search history.
