How to make a teddy bear?

i got my friend a breaclet for her birthday and i want this teddy bear to hold the box but i don't want it to look half *** and i don't want it to break

long story short, for a school project i have to make a jersey for this small teddy bear and it has to have writing on it...how do i make this? any tips? i dont wanna simply write on fabric with a sharpy, i want it to look nice

I'm very interested in textiles and was wondering if anyone knew of how i could craft a teddy bear, such as a winnie the pooh themed bear? :)

The teddy is 6 years old and was bought in Jenners deparment store in Edinburgh. We have a picture of the teddy, but I can only make out the word "Teddy" on it. It was probably quite expensive - maybe as much as a Sieff (£30-£7...
