Is this iPod Touch a 2g or 3g?

I just checked online, and it says for a 2g 8gb ipod touch its 189.95 dollars. A 3g 8gb ipod touch is 197.99. so which one do you think i should get? im 14 and so my parents will have to pay for the touch and i dont want them spending a lot of money...

All the ipod touch's have been released in September, so I assume that if their is going to be a 3g it will be released next month. I wanted to find out what will make it different from the 2g.

Context: after multiple iPhone upgrades I have two iPhone 3G and one iPhone 2G, and my daughter would like to have one as an iPod Touch to supplement her iPod Nano. I'd prefer to giver her the 2G unless there are good reasons for her to have the 3G.
