Why can't I delete the mail in my spam folder?

Browser goes to e-mail but once there I cant delete messages after I read them, cant go to next message and cant get into spam box. Its like once I get into my mailbox nothing in my Yahoo Mail works.

I also have AOL and when I open my Bulk Folder I can highlight and mark as spam. This has drastically reduced my junk mail and potiental dangerous mail. Yahoo should take a look at this.
