Why won't my computer let me download anything?

i have a macbook pro, and when i try to download a song it always says error. and when i try to download it off a website it wont let me either. do i have a virus? how can i fix this?

My emachine works fine until i download an antivirus. After i download an anti virus it wont let me open anything. Cant open the controll panel, go online. NOTHING!!! Any thoughts as to why it would do this?
