Why won't my email let me open attachments?

I have been having trouble with my internet, and now everything is fine, except when i try to download attachments from my email, what is wrong?

when i send spreadsheets or word perfect to someone in an email they can not open them or read them and this is a problem for me since i do this all day

This just started happening a few days ago, Ive never had a problem with it before. Every time I try to attach a picture or even reply to someone who has something attached to their email, a message says something about the server not connecting.......

When I click on the "attachments" option it will open another bar which tells me i can add attachments, however it does not give me an option of where to look in my computer for attachments as it does in my other yahoo email accounts. I just...

Every email i try to send with an attachment it will not send and gives me a notice that it is too large, I used to always be able to send with attachments. I am only trying to attach one doc each time
